Corporate History
The key players behind Microtek Corporation have been operating for over 20 years in the Edmonton area, and throughout Alberta.
David Papp, founder of Microtek (1991), has been prolific in the technology industry in Edmonton. He was a key member in the rise of several local technology corporations, until his decision to exclusively focus on the growth of Microtek Corporation in 2001. Since then, Microtek has been providing exceptional service and technology solutions to an ever growing roster of clients.
David recently authored a book regarding his experiences and observations entitled "IT Survival Guide: Conquering Information Technology in Your Organization".
In an effort to further expand and improve its services, Microtek acquired Cricket Works in 2008, a well reputed web development firm (since 1993). Although Microtek was heavily involved in web development, this expansion allowed Microtek to add to the extensive services offered to clients.
We enjoy being a one-stop shop acting as technology advisors for our clients.
